Q. Why should I have a saltchlorinator and how does it work?

A. First, a salt chlorinator still produceschlorine. Second, there is not as muchsalt in your pool as in the ocean. Asalt chlorinator makes chlorine from salt (NaCl), infusing chlorine gas intothe water. The best thing that it doesis mechanically control itself so that a constant level of chlorine ismaintained (no over chlorinating or under chlorinating). The things that you will enjoy about thewater is virtually no chlorine smell, no red eyes, no bleached swim suits, nocolored hair turning green, and a slightly softer water feel without the itchychlorine feel.
