Dr. Dawkins, a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Through continuing education, he has stayed abreast of the latest in aesthetic surgery and technology.

Dr. Dawkins was a faculty member of an international skin care seminar in New York City. The seminar was sponsored by LaRoche-Posay. He presented a lecture on the incorporation of skin care in a cosmetic medical practice. Dr. Dawkins was one of the original clients of BioMedic skin care systems in 1991. BioMedic-LaRoche Posay is now a division of L'Oréal providing skin care products only through medical practices in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Dr. Dawkins participates actively in many civic and professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Inc., and the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
